Modus is a hidden gem, his skills with both design as well as application go unmatched.
Before going into see him we communicated back and forth determining design and sizing. Eventually we ultimately met in person to discuss it further. A 15 min appointment turned into over an hour as conversation just unrolled.
Finally when the time came for day of getting the tattoo o was made very comfortable. Modus explained and walked me through everything he was going to do. He has a light touch that packs ink. For as long as I live in Victoria as well as after I move. I will always go back to him. His service and skill is incomparable.

Wanted to surprise my Boyfriend with a tattoo for his Birthday and came across Modus page filled with unique designs and pieces. He answers messages and questions quickly and provides detailed information of his work. Modus will take all your ideas into consideration and take them to a new level! He worked with myself and my boyfriend to create a unique tattoo that others consider to be a piece of art rather than just your standard tattoo. HE IS A TRUE ARTIST! If you are looking for hand drawn artwork that tell a deeper story Modus Is definitely your guy!! More than thrilled at how his sleeve turned out and we continue to see modus for the rest of our tattoos. Would recommend his work to all locals in Victoria or definitely is worth the commute to island for a unique piece made by a talented artist/tattoo artist!
